Comfort Me With Apples

I just so happened to be reading this book, which is her second memoir, when I learned about Ruth Reichl coming to Sacramento.  Although not able to attend the event, I heard it was striking, as is this book.  I reveled in Mrs. Reichl’s free spirit and expressiveness.  For laughs, surprises, travels, vivid food descriptions and more, this is a jovial book for any foodie.
